2005-11-15First TAW Prize for Web Accessibility award ceremonyFundación CTIC (Communication and Information Technology Center) with the support of the Principality of Asturias Government and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, has launched the First TAW Prize for Web Accessibility. This national award is intended to acknowledge the work carried out by individuals and private and public organizations who have apply, in the development of Web contents and Web sites, the accessibility guidelines, developed by W3C, with the goal to ensure equal Web Access for All. The prize, which has four categories, will be given on Tuesday, November 22, once the Web Foundations 2005 conferences have concluded. See the program.

In order to offer these new seats, an additional room with a closed-circuit television has been added where attendants will be able to question the speaker.
